The acclaimed 1961 Academy Award-winning Best Song “Moon River,” composed by Henry Mancini with lyrics by Johnny Mercer, also took home the Grammy® award in 1961 for Record of the Year and Song of the Year.  Arranged by Staci Griesbach and Abe Lagrimas, Jr., and featuring Lagrimas on ukulele, this version of the tune plays into its original simplicity in Audrey Hepburn’s iconic version from “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.”
